August 2026

Starting in August of 2026, I decided to focus on a group of gouache paintings that I could post as a group of affordable paintings to people who wanted to support my work as an artist. The idea being that each month I will drop a new set of paintings for this overall project.

The series of paintings from August 2026 connects with nature and the feelings of flowery fields and the landscapes that summer brings us. They are quiet studies painted using gouache on thick paper. I love the look of the rough edges of the paper. As September progresses, I'm going to figure out a way of mounting this paper and framing it, possibly for my next drop.

I hope you enjoy these original paintings and can purchase one in support of my studio practice.
